Cristiano Ronaldo Reportedly Urges Al Nassr to Sign Liverpool Star Luis Díaz

According to a report from The Athletic, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly encouraged Al Nassr’s management to join the race for Luis Díaz, the Liverpool winger who is rumored to be seeking a move away from Anfield in the current summer transfer window.

The Colombian international has attracted strong interest from several European giants. Both Bayern Munich and Barcelona have expressed serious intent, with Bayern reportedly submitting a formal offer of €67.5 million, which was swiftly rejected by Liverpool.

The Premier League club has placed a minimum valuation of €100 million on Díaz, who has been a standout performer since arriving from FC Porto in 2022.

That high price tag is seen as an opportunity for financially powerful clubs outside Europe, such as Al Nassr. As the club’s marquee player and one of the most influential figures in Saudi football, Ronaldo is believed to be pushing for the move to strengthen Al Nassr’s ambitions both domestically and in Asian competitions.

If successful, Díaz would become the latest high-profile European player to join the Saudi Pro League, following a wave of big-name signings since 2023.
