Charlotte FC Selected to Host 2026 MLS All-Star Game

Major League Soccer announced that Charlotte FC — which joined the league in 2022 — will host the 2026 MLS All-Star Game at Bank of America Stadium.

This 30th edition of the league’s star-studded match will be Charlotte’s first hosting opportunity — with the exact date and opponent to be announced later. The stadium previously successfully hosted four FIFA Club World Cup matches in 2025.

Charlotte FC has achieved an impressive average attendance of 35,000 fans per match — the second-highest figure in MLS for three consecutive seasons since joining the league.

Meanwhile for the 2025 All-Star Game, Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba from Inter Miami CF are included in the 26-player MLS squad that will face Liga MX on July 23 at Q2 Stadium, Austin. This marks the fourth meeting between MLS and Liga MX in All-Star Game format, following the 2021, 2022, and 2024 editions.
