Otu Bisong becomes Philippines U-23 hero with two goals against Malaysia

Otu Bisong delivered an outstanding performance by scoring two goals that led Philippines U-23 national team to victory over Malaysia U-23 in Group A of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025.

The 18-year-old player — who was born and raised in the United States — currently plays for Herndon High School in US student competitions.

“My name is Otu Bisong. My dream is to break into college competition, compete with high-level teams and get into the best campus,” the player wrote on the NCSA Sports platform.

After this surprising victory, the Young Azkals will face host Indonesia U-23 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in their next match.
