Jens Raven Scores 6 Goals as Indonesia Crushes Brunei in U-23 Mandiri Cup

According to ASEAN United FC, Indonesia’s U-23 national team began their 2025 U-23 Mandiri Cup journey with a dominant 8-0 victory over Brunei Darussalam at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

Dutch-born striker Jens Raven delivered an outstanding performance by scoring six goals — three of which came within the first 30 minutes. The 19-year-old, standing at 1.89 meters tall, demonstrated brilliant positioning and finishing abilities.

Shin Tae-yong’s team managed to score seven goals in the first half — with the other two goals coming from long-range strikes by Arkhan Fikri and Rayhan Hannan.

This victory reinforces Indonesia’s status as tournament favorites, though tougher challenges await from Philippines who surprised Malaysia with a 2-0 win. Vietnam and Thailand are also predicted to be strong contenders in the knockout phase.
