Katherine Legge adds Brickyard 400 to NASCAR schedule

Katherine Legge expands her 2025 NASCAR schedule by adding the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway — her fifth race this season with Live Fast Motorsports in the No. 78 Chevrolet.

Desnuda Organic Tequila and Indiana-based venture firm Droplight will serve as primary sponsors for this effort. Legge will also compete in the No. 32 Jordan Anderson Racing Chevrolet for the Xfinity race this weekend.

The experienced driver has made four Indianapolis 500 starts since 2012 — with a best finish of 22nd position. After replacing Richmond with Las Vegas Motor Speedway in October, Legge will conclude the 2025 season with 13 total starts across both series.

“My best result came at the Chicago Street Course, finishing 19th after beating Corey Heim from 23XI Racing in qualifying,” said Legge.

Her Cup Series debut in March at Phoenix ended in a crash, but Katherine Legge made history as the first female driver in the series since Danica Patrick’s final appearance at the Daytona 500 seven years ago.
