Philippines U-23 coach sends spies to monitor Indonesia vs Brunei match

Garrath James McPherson, the Philippines U-23 national team coach, has sent an analysis team to monitor Indonesia’s match against Brunei Darussalam in the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025.

The Azkals just secured a 2-0 victory over Malaysia at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) — both goals scored by Otu Abang Banatao in the 9th and 40th minutes.

The Filipino analysis team was positioned in the SUGBK stands to observe the squad led by Gerald Vanenburg — preparation for their second Group A match against Indonesia on July 18, 2025.
