Rafael Struick chooses Dewa United over Persija Jakarta

Mohamad Prapanca, Persija Jakarta Director, clarifies the situation regarding Rafael Struick’s failed transfer to the Macan Kemayoran club.

The 22-year-old Indonesia national team striker — who was Persija Jakarta’s target — has instead decided to join Dewa United with a three-season contract duration.

Speaking to media, Prapanca revealed that his side was actually targeting two diaspora players — with one slot already filled by Jordi Amat who is bound by a two-year contract.

Despite intensive communications with Struick, negotiations failed to reach an agreement — allowing Dewa United to secure the young striker’s services.
