According to Bolasport.com, Jorge Jesus has been officially appointed as the new coach of Al Nassr — the Saudi Arabian club where Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays.

The 70-year-old manager has signed a short-term contract until June 2026, with an option for a one-year extension based on performance evaluation.

Jesus recently ended his tenure with city rival Al Hilal in early May — his decision to join Al Nassr was significantly influenced by the Portuguese superstar.

“I’ve always felt very happy here and always won. Now I will try to do it again,” stated Jesus. “If it wasn’t for Cristiano Ronaldo’s invitation, I wouldn’t be at Al Nassr.”

The Portuguese coach now has the mission of helping Ronaldo secure his first trophy in Saudi Arabian competition with the team nicknamed Knights of Najd.
