South Africa Crushes Mali 4-0 in Women’s Africa Cup

The South Africa women’s national team showcased their best performance by defeating Mali 4-0 in Oujda to top Group C of the Women’s Africa Cup.

Lebohang Ramalepe opened the scoring in the fifth minute — converting a through pass from Jermaine Seoposenwe with a shot into the top corner. Refiloe Jane doubled the lead with a spectacular free kick.

After the break, Hildah Magaia scored the third after receiving a pass from Karabo Dhlamini, while Ronnel Donnelly completed the scoring in the 79th minute.

In the other Group C match:

  • Ghana defeated Tanzania 4-1
  • Princella Adobea scored in the 12th minute
  • Stumai Athumani equalized for Tanzania
  • Alice Kusi, Evelyn Badu, and Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah added goals for Ghana

These results set up the quarter-final matches — South Africa will face Senegal, Mali meets hosts Morocco, Ghana takes on Algeria, while Nigeria will face Zambia.
