Super League 2025/2026 schedule released, Persebaya vs PSIM set for opening match

ILeague has announced the official Super League 2025/2026 schedule through its official website yesterday. The competition will begin with Borneo FC facing Bhayangkara FC on August 8 — scheduled for kick-off at 15:30 WIB.

The official opening of the new season will be held in Surabaya — featuring hosts Persebaya Surabaya against PSIM Yogyakarta at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium.

“We don’t have any obligation or tradition of Liga 1 champions facing Liga 2 champions. We feel we can choose anyone at any time,” stated Ferry Paulus, ILeague’s Managing Director, in his statement last week.
