Cristhian Mosquera Hints at Valencia Departure for Arsenal Move

Cristhian Mosquera – Valencia’s young defender targeted by Arsenal – has indicated his departure from the Spanish club. According to ESPN reports, the 21-year-old has agreed personal terms with the North London club.

“Valencia is my home and always will be,” Mosquera told Marca.

“I arrived when I was 12, and now I’m leaving as a grown man. I’m a little sad because I’ve been here my whole life, but decisions in football are like that. Now, a new era begins.”

Despite Valencia offering a new contract, reports from England and Spain suggest the deal between both clubs progressed over the weekend. Arsenal seeks additional defensive cover for William Saliba and Gabriel – Mosquera, who has featured in 73 LaLiga matches over the past two seasons, fits this role.

Arsenal has already completed the transfers of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Nørgaard, and Martín Zubimendi in this summer transfer window.
