Bigetron Parts Ways with Light

Bigetron’s squad rebuild continues with roamer Dylan “Light” Catipon’s departure just a moment ago. The announcement was made available on their official social media.

Per this afternoon, Bigetron stated they and Light mutually agreed to end his professional contract. They thanked the Filipino roamer for his contributions and the positive impact he had on the team’s mentality.

Light also announced his departure on his own social media. He expressed gratitude to the Red Robot team and its fans for their support. He explained his decision stemmed from difficulties adapting to life in Indonesia, leading him to plan a return home.

So far, Light hasn’t revealed any details about his plans for the next competitive season. His departure deals a significant blow to the team and its fans, especially considering how he improved their gameplay during his roughly 5 months in Indonesia.

Light is the second import to leave Bigetron after MPL ID Season 15 ended. Head coach Patrick “E2MAX” James left the squad earlier, also choosing to pursue new opportunities in the Philippines.
