Mindfreak Ready to Quit Paper Rex

In a surprising turn of event, Paper Rex’s star player Aaron “mindfreak” Leonheart has announced he’s ready to leave the team to seek new opportunities elsewhere.

PRX’s social media just announced they have moved mindfreak to a substitute role to make space for their new Filipino star, Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza. However, they’re allowing him to compete with other teams.

Regarding this decision, PRX management stated they’re honoring mindfreak’s request to continue playing high-level Valorant and won’t hold him until his contract ends. Mindfreak himself also confirmed he’ll consider offers from any team.

This news is definitely disappointing for loyal PRX fans, especially those who’ve followed him since 2020. It’s also a tough blow for his teammates, who are known to be very close with him outside competitions.

PRX members like Khalish “d4v41” Rusyaidee and coach Alexandre “alecks” Sallé called this the team’s hardest decision ever. Given mindfreak’s skill as a strategic mastermind, he’s likely to attract offers from top VCT franchise teams.
