Indonesian men’s volleyball team changes two players before SEA V League 2025

According to assistant coach Erwin Rusni, the Indonesian men’s national volleyball team has made changes to their lineup ahead of SEA V League 2025 second leg at Jakarta International Velodrome.

“There are player replacements because Dio has a back injury and Doni has a shoulder injury,” stated Rusni.

Doni Haryono and Dio Zulfikri — who play as outside hitter and setter — are replaced by Agil Angga Anggara and Alfin Daniel. Both replacement players recently represented Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi — the Proliga 2025 champions — at the World Police and Fire Games in the United States.

In the first leg of SEA V League 2025, Indonesia secured the runner-up position behind Thailand — who claimed their third consecutive title. Indonesia collected eight points from three victories and one defeat, while Thailand gathered nine points with the same record.
