Indra Sjafri clarifies his status as interim head of PSSI technical department

Indra Sjafri provides official clarification regarding his position at PSSI, which is currently only as acting head (Plt) in the technical department.

This statement emerges after Ratu Tisha Destria — Expert Staff to the Minister of Youth and Sports for Sports Diaspora and Diplomacy — mentioned that Indra still holds the position of PSSI Technical Director.

This situation has caused confusion considering the PSSI Technical Director position remains vacant — the federation is still in the process of finding the right candidate to fill the position.

“I am not the PSSI Technical Director,” Indra Sjafri affirms.

Although only serving as acting head, Indra continues to carry out player monitoring functions while waiting for PSSI to appoint a definitive Technical Director.
