Virtus.pro has won the final spot at the upcoming MSC 2025 main stage by defeating China’s representative Rare Atom in a best-of-five Wildcard final for the MSC x EWC 2025 tournament. The Polar Bear will return for the main event on July 23rd.

Entering as underdogs, the Russian boys surprised fans with consistently aggressive play throughout the Wildcard stage. And many noted their style was nearly similar to the top Asian teams.

VP dominated Game 1, controlling key objectives and forcing fights where RA was weakest to maximize their lineup. Their opponent bounced back to win Game 2, but this comeback was short-lived as VP quickly secured Game 3.

RA pressured VP in the decisive Game 5, taking control and making clutch in the late game. However, VP stayed calm and executed a solid strategy to pull a reverse and secured the victory.

This marks a special moment for the team – qualifying for their first international MLBB tournament in their debut year. As the only all-Russian squad, making a deep run against top teams in Saudi Arabia would be a significant achievement.

VP MLBB: Andrew “Andoryuuu” Flora (jungler), Denis “BadKot” Bogomolov (exp Laner), Dmitrii “Bober” Beliaev (mid laner), Egor “superegorka” Bugaev (marksman), dan Vladimir “Pluto” Misiurin (roamer).
