Luca Marini becomes the only Honda rider to finish German MotoGP

Luca Marini achieved a notable distinction as the only Honda rider to complete the 2025 German MotoGP at Sachsenring Circuit on Sunday (13/7).

The Honda HRC Castrol rider — who just returned after missing three races due to an accident during Suzuka 8 Hours private testing in late May — managed to secure sixth position in a challenging race.

His teammates faced different outcomes — Joan Mir and Johann Zarco crashed during the race, while Somkiat Chantra was absent from the start of the week due to injury.

Valentino Rossi’s younger brother maintained his position through 30 intense laps — an achievement that allowed him to collect crucial championship points.
