According to Badspi.jp, Japanese women’s singles player Tomoka Miyazaki shows great ambition to win Japan Open 2025 — a BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament to be held in her home country.

The 18-year-old shuttler is ready to compete with world’s top players — including An Se-young and her senior Akane Yamaguchi who has collected four Japan Open titles.

Akane Yamaguchi is recorded as the most successful player in women’s singles after Chinese legend Li Ling Wei with titles in:

  • 2013
  • 2019
  • 2022
  • 2024

“I’m very grateful that many young people say they admire me as a player,” said Tomoka Miyazaki. “I want to show good performance to them so they can be impressed with my own game.”
