Aston Martin Driver Academy has just announced a strategic partnership with DPK Racing — the official team of FA Alonso Kart chassis.

Aston Martin Formula 1 CEO and Team Principal Andy Cowell shared the program’s vision:

“Our Driver Academy gives us the opportunity to shape the next generation of drivers, helping them grow into the complete package. Guiding young talent through challenging career phases is not just a privilege, but a shared passion across the entire team.”

The program offers various development opportunities for talented young drivers:

  • Physical training
  • Media coaching
  • Simulator sessions
  • F1 race weekend attendance
  • Direct learning from Fernando Alonso’s karting network

The team owned by Lawrence Stroll launched the academy in June 2025 by signing 21-year-old Spanish driver Mari Boya — a three-time Spanish karting champion currently competing in Formula 3 with Campos Racing.

“It’s a unique opportunity to learn from a team with such ambition in Formula 1. Being in the Aston Martin Aramco environment is incredibly special. The AMR Technology Campus is an inspiring place, and I’m excited for the opportunities ahead while continuing to work hard and grow as a driver,” stated Boya.
