Ramon Tanque Adapts to Persib After Success in Cambodian League

Ramon “Tanque” de Andrade Souza, the new striker for Persib Bandung, is currently in the process of adapting to his new team after officially joining from Visakha FC.

The Brazilian forward arrives with an impressive track record from the Cambodian League — scoring 21 goals and providing five assists last season, making him one of the most prolific strikers in the competition.

Ahead of the 2025/2026 Super League season, Maung Bandung is targeting a top-table finish — a challenge Tanque is ready to embrace, backed by his experience playing in Asia.

“I have experience playing in Cambodia,” said Tanque, adding that his familiarity with Asian football will help speed up his adaptation at Persib.

Tanque’s arrival is expected to strengthen Persib’s attacking power, especially as the club aims to be a serious contender in the title race this season.
