Indonesia U-23 team ready to face Brunei in ASEAN Cup opener

Indonesia U-23 national team is preparing to start their ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 campaign on home soil. The tournament will be held at two different venues — Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi and Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta.

The squad under Gerald Vanenburg is drawn in a group with Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, and Malaysia — with the opening match against Brunei Darussalam at SUGBK coming up soon.

Despite the imminent match schedule, the national team has yet to announce their final squad list — however, coach Gerald Vanenburg is reportedly close to completing the player selection process for the competition that will run until the end of July.
