Indonesia claims two individual awards in first leg of SEA V League 2025

The Indonesian volleyball team had to settle for runner-up position in the first leg of SEA V League 2025 held at Candon City Arena, Philippines. The second leg of this competition will take place at Jakarta International Velodrome from July 16-20.

Indonesia collected eight points from three victories and one defeat — finishing below Thailand who secured nine points with the same record. Thailand maintained their dominance by claiming their third consecutive championship title.

Two Indonesian players secured individual awards in the first leg. Boy Arnez Arabi was selected as the best outside hitter and shared top scorer honors with 69 points alongside Vietnamese player Nguyen Ngoc Thuan. Meanwhile, Jasen Natanael Kilanta received the award for best setter of the tournament.
