Cadillac Secures Historic Victory at Interlagos with 1-2 Finish

American manufacturer Cadillac marked a historic moment as Will Stevens, Alex Lynn, and Norman Nato led a 1-2 finish at Interlagos Circuit — securing their first victory in the World Endurance Championship.

The Jota-operated Cadillac V-Series.R LMDh cars dominated the Brazilian six-hour race. The sister car driven by Earl Bamber, Jenson Button, and Sébastien Bourdais finished second with a 57-second gap, while the Penske team’s Porsche 963 LMDh secured third place.

The winning team recovered from an early penalty for tire pressure violation. Alex Lynn took the lead during the second pit stop and built an advantage that was maintained until the checkered flag.

In the LMGT3 class, Lexus claimed their maiden victory through the trio of Jose Maria Lopez, Clemens Schmid, and Razvan Umbrarescu — leading by 37 seconds over their closest competitors.
