During Free Practice 3, Sean Gelael set a time of 1:34.659 putting United Autosports 95 in fifth position — while teammates Marino Sato and Darren Leung completed race simulation program with consistent pace.

Darren Leung — handling qualifying duties as Bronze driver — managed to set his personal best time at Interlagos Circuit with 1:35.090.
