Alex Marquez under pressure in 2025 MotoGP championship battle

Alex Marquez of Gresini Racing — currently second in the 2025 MotoGP standings behind his brother Marc Marquez of Ducati Lenovo — begins to face pressure in the championship battle.

The 29-year-old rider has shown impressive performance throughout the season — consistently appearing on Sprint Race podiums in the previous 10 rounds, including a victory at the British MotoGP. In main races, he recorded five second-place finishes and one victory at the Spanish MotoGP.

The German MotoGP Sprint Race marked a turning point — Alex only managed to finish eighth following a crash in the previous round at Assen Circuit, Netherlands.
