Infantino affirms success of FIFA Club World Cup 2025

Gianni Infantino — FIFA president — has responded firmly to criticism surrounding the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup organization, as reported by Forbes.

The tournament held in mid-June faced various negative spotlights — ranging from low attendance to weather issues that disrupted matches.

“We can say with certainty that this FIFA Club World Cup has been a very, very, very big success,” stated Infantino.

“Of course there are many positive things, there are also some negative things,” added the FIFA chief.

Despite criticism, Infantino emphasized that the tournament has recorded the highest revenue in club competition history.
