Francesco Bagnaia faces major difficulties at German MotoGP

Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo team reveals his struggles on day two of German MotoGP at Sachsenring Circuit. Wet track conditions — combined with technical issues on his bike — made it difficult for the 28-year-old rider to showcase his best performance.

“It was a very difficult day. I don’t remember ever being this slow in a wet MotoGP race. Everything became complicated since this morning,” Bagnaia stated.

The setup changes made by the team did not yield expected results. The main issue faced by Bagnaia was the weak grip of the bike — a condition that put the Italian rider at risk of crashing whenever trying to push harder.

“Unfortunately, I cannot maximize potential right now. Every time I try to push harder, the rear of the bike becomes unstable. I can’t even enter the inside line because the grip is so weak,” he explained.
