Dewa United claims third place in 2025 President’s Cup after defeating All Star

Dewa United FC achieved an impressive result at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency — they secured third place in the 2025 President’s Cup by defeating Liga Indonesia All Star 2-0.

Taisei Marukawa opened the scoring in the 60th minute, followed by Alex Martins‘ goal in the 68th minute — securing a valuable victory for the Tangerang-based team.

This achievement earned Dewa United a prize of 2 billion rupiah, while Liga Indonesia All Star — finishing fourth — received 1 billion rupiah in appreciation.

The match featured early pressure from Liga Indonesia All Star, but Wahyu Prasetyo of Dewa United countered with a threatening attack from the right side in the fourth minute. The opportunity was missed when Egy Maulana failed to deliver an accurate pass to Alex Martins.

Riko Simanjuntak from All Star attempted to connect with Witan Sulaeman, but the Persija Jakarta player’s shot went wide of Dewa United’s goal.
