Marc Marquez wins German MotoGP sprint race on wet track

Marc Marquez from Ducati team claimed victory in the 2025 German MotoGP sprint race at Sachsenring Circuit, Saturday (12/7/2025).

The race delayed by 10 minutes due to wet track conditions — marking the first wet race since British MotoGP about two years ago.

Marco Bezzecchi from Aprilia had to settle for second place, while Fabio Quartararo from Monster Energy Yamaha completed the podium.

• Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46) finished fourth
• Jack Miller (Pramac Yamaha) in fifth position
• Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) only managed to finish 12th

Drama unfolded when Marco Bezzecchi briefly took the lead after Marquez went wide — but the Ducati rider managed to reclaim first position until the finish line.
