Marc Marquez dominates wet German GP qualifying at Sachsenring

Marc Marquez demonstrated exceptional dominance in the wet qualifying session of the German GP at Sachsenring — securing pole position with an impressive performance on his factory Ducati.

Johann Zarco from Honda LCR team grabbed attention with second place finish — utilizing a medium rear tire strategy that differed from most riders who opted for soft compounds. The French rider finished just 0.151 seconds behind Marquez.

Marco Bezzecchi from Aprilia completed the front row — though trailing almost half a second behind the pole position time.

  • Franco Morbidelli (VR46 Ducati) – Second row
  • Pedro Acosta (Tech3 KTM) – Second row
  • Alex Marquez (Gresini Ducati) – Second row
  • Fabio Quartararo – Third row
  • Fabio di Giannantonio – Third row
  • Jack Miller (Pramac Yamaha) – Third row

Several riders struggled in wet conditions — including Francesco Bagnaia who could only manage 11th position, trailing his factory Ducati teammate by 1.9 seconds.
