Paulinho Moccelin apologizes for brutal tackle on Ole Romeny in President’s Cup

Paulinho Moccelin from Arema FC has expressed his apologies for the dangerous tackle he committed against Ole Romeny during the 2025 President’s Cup match at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency.

The incident occurred shortly after Romeny — who plays for Oxford United — scored his team’s second goal in the 10th minute, extending their lead in a match that eventually ended in a 4-0 victory.

The brutal tackle resulted in the Indonesian National Team player being stretchered off the field — the match referee did not show a red card for the offense.
