Philippines Appoints Garrath McPherson as U-23 Team Coach

According to PFF’s official Instagram announcement, the Philippines Football Federation has appointed Garrath McPherson as their U-23 national team head coach.

“We proudly announce Garrath McPherson as the new head coach of our U23 Men’s National Football Team,” stated PFF.

The Australian coach — who currently serves as assistant coach for the Philippines women’s national team — will lead the squad for the upcoming ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 in Indonesia.

McPherson brings an impressive track record — including his role in guiding Philippines to the ASEAN Cup semifinals last year, defeating Indonesia in the process.
