Indonesian men’s volleyball team bounces back with decisive victory over Cambodia

The Indonesian men’s volleyball team demonstrated an impressive comeback — defeating Cambodia with a decisive 3-0 score (25-23, 25-18, 25-23) in the SEA V League 2025 match at Candon City Arena, Philippines.

Coach Jeff Jiang Jie has finally found the ideal formation after several lineup changes. The solid team composition includes:

  • Jasen Nataniel Kilanta as setter
  • Hendra Kurniawan and Tedy Oka Syahputra in middle blocker positions
  • Boy Arnez Arabi and Farhan Halim as outside hitters
  • Rivan Nurmulki in the opposite position

This victory marks a crucial momentum for Indonesia — following their previous 1-3 loss to Thailand in the opening match. Championship chances in the first leg remain open with a crucial upcoming match against Vietnam that will determine the team’s fate.
