Maikhel Muskita ready to face Thai boxer at SKO Vol. 3

SEA Games 2021 gold medalist Maikhel Roberrd Muskita will appear at the international boxing event Superstar Knockout (SKO) Vol. 3, facing Thai boxer Meka Papasang at Jakarta International Convention Center, Senayan on August 9.

The 24-year-old boxer from Ambon — who has experience facing numerous international boxers — has expressed his readiness for the fight.

“As an athlete, I’m ready to face the Thai boxer. Besides, I’ve often fought against foreign boxers before. No special preparation needed,” Maikhel stated during a press conference in SCBD, Jakarta.

The PON 2021 gold medalist — commonly known as Maikhe — is using this match as preparation for the 2025 Thailand SEA Games.

“My motivation is the same as other athletes – to gain more ring experience. Because I’ve had few matches lately, and I also lack sparring partners,” he added.
