Jordi Amat and Rizky Ridho Reunite at Persija 2025

Jordi Amat and Rizky Ridho — two Indonesian national team defenders from different eras — are set to reunite at the heart of Persija Jakarta’s defense for the upcoming 2025/26 Liga 1 season.

Rizky Ridho, who has spent two seasons with Macan Kemayoran after leaving Persebaya Surabaya, will pair up with Amat, who joins the club following stints in Europe and Malaysia.

The two defenders have a shared history in the Indonesia national team, having made 13 appearances together in the iconic red-and-white jersey. However, their paths have diverged — Amat’s last consistent spell with the national team came during the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
