Vanenburg Aims for ASEAN U-23 Cup 2025 Title

Indonesia U-23 head coach, Gerald Vanenburg, has declared his ambition to lead Garuda Muda to victory in the 2025 ASEAN U-23 Cup, which will be held in Jakarta and Bekasi.

Indonesia is drawn in Group A alongside three neighboring countries:

  • Malaysia
  • Philippines
  • Brunei Darussalam

The tournament will take place at two venues — Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta and Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi.

“We didn’t come to this tournament to be runners-up. We must win every match,” emphasized Vanenburg.

Indonesia U-23 will kick off their campaign against Brunei Darussalam, followed by matches against the Philippines, and finally Malaysia — all group stage fixtures are scheduled this month.
