Tottenham Hotspur officially signs Mohammed Kudus from West Ham

According to ESPN, Tottenham Hotspur has completed the transfer of midfielder Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United for £55 million — well below the £85 million release clause in his contract.

The 24-year-old Ghana international has signed a six-year contract with Spurs — becoming the first recruitment under new manager Thomas Frank.

“It feels great to be here, I’m very happy and can’t wait to start,” said Kudus. “One of the most important parts of why I came here is the project and how the manager sees it, and to develop under him.”

During his career at West Ham, Kudus recorded impressive statistics — scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists in 80 appearances since joining from Ajax two years ago.

Tottenham is reportedly also targeting Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White — who last season contributed seven goals and eight assists, helping his club qualify for European competition for the first time in 29 years.
