Jordi Amat reveals his crucial role in Persija Jakarta’s dressing room

Jordi Amat officially joined Persija Jakarta in early July 2025 — a significant addition to the club’s defensive line. The 33-year-old defender brings valuable experience from his stints in the English Premier League and La Liga.

In his statement to Persija’s official website, Amat revealed his important role as team motivator:

“I’m the type of person who always provides motivation. Whether with my children, family, or friends, I always try to encourage them to give their best whenever possible.”

The Indonesian national team defender emphasized the importance of team unity:

“We are essentially a family in the dressing room. We need to fight together and win every ball during matches. We must stay close to motivate each other.”
