Garnacho Returns to Manchester United Training Amid Future Uncertainty

According to ESPN, Alejandro Garnacho has received permission to join his Manchester United teammates for pre-season training at Carrington — after previously training in isolation.

The 21-year-old winger has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, Italian Serie A, and German Bundesliga. His future at Old Trafford remains uncertain following a challenging season under Ruben Amorim’s management.

Manchester United finished 15th in the Premier League — the club’s worst-ever position — and lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final. Garnacho, who was left out of the starting XI in that final, indicated his desire to seek new challenges.

“Some players come in, like Mason Mount, against Bilbao and changed the game. Who missed the big opportunity in the first half against Bilbao? Yeah, Garnacho,” said Amorim in his sharp criticism.

Despite strained relations with the coach, Garnacho recorded his best season with 11 goals from 57 appearances since his United debut in 2022.
