Indonesia men’s volleyball team loses to Thailand in SEA V League opener

Indonesia men’s national volleyball team under coach Jeff Jiang Jie started their SEA V League 2025 campaign with a 1-3 (25-22, 21-25, 22-25, 20-25) loss to Thailand at Candon City Arena, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.

The squad led by Dio Zulfikri showed promising play by winning the opening set — but failed to maintain momentum in subsequent sets.

SEA V League 2025 introduces a new format with five participating nations, including Cambodia as a newcomer. A promotion and relegation system has been implemented — where the bottom team will be relegated to SEA V League Challenge.
