Former Onic ID Star Says the Team is Immune to Psywar

Former Onic ID MLBB key player and streamer Muhammad “Butss” Sanubari recently shared his thoughts on the heated situation between fans of his former team and their MPL ID rival, RRQ Hoshi.

The controversy started when RRQ’s captain, Hajirin “Rinz” Arafat, commented during his team’s talk show. He stated that their loss to Onic ID in the MPL ID Season 15 finals wasn’t due to the opponent’s strength, but rather their own mistakes. He also suggested that the Yellow Porcupines wouldn’t be their biggest challenge at the upcoming MSC x EWC 2025 tournament in Saudi Arabia.

These remarks quickly drew negative reactions from many viewers, especially within the Indonesian community, and some streamers who further fueled the fire. Some Onic fans worried this situation might affect the players’ mindset.

However, Butss stressed that his former team is used to pressure and assured everyone that the negative comments don’t affect them. He believes the team always stays focused on achieving results rather than getting involved in drama or seeking attention.

“There’s no point in responding to their words. We’re already tired from chasing trophies, let alone reacting to stuff like that. We’d rather work our asses off to win something,” he said during a livestream.

Although no longer playing for the team, Butss remains a streamer directly managed by the Onic organization. He has committed to supporting the upcoming MSC x EWC 2025 competition and cheering on his friends.
