Nick Kuipers jeered by Persib fans during Dewa United debut

Nick Kuipers experienced an unpleasant debut with Dewa United when facing his former club — Persib Bandung in the Group B Presidential Cup 2025 match at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium.

The 32-year-old defender received jeers from bobotoh — the nickname for Persib Bandung supporters throughout yesterday’s match.

“This is part of football, so I cannot say anything bad,” said Kuipers in response to the supporters’ reaction.

The former Persib player chose to maintain a professional attitude and considered the supporters’ response as a normal occurrence in the football world.
