Luis Enrique Avoids Mbappé Question Ahead of PSG vs Real Madrid Clash

Luis Enrique — Paris Saint-Germain’s coach — sidesteps comparisons between current squad and team previously featuring Kylian Mbappé ahead of Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid.

“This is a question about the past and I’m not here to discuss the past — I’m only thinking about the future,” stated Luis Enrique during press conference.

The Spanish coach acknowledges that facing his former player adds extra motivation — competing against world’s most successful club presents unique challenge.

Extreme weather in New Jersey — with temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius and humidity above 54% — raises concerns following Chelsea versus Fluminense match.

“We’re getting used to it. Playing in these conditions has become normal during World Cup. It will be business as usual,” said Luis Enrique. “It’s not good for the spectacle because it’s difficult to play in that position, but conditions are same for both teams.”

Winner of this match will face Chelsea in Sunday’s final, after Premier League side secured their spot with 2-0 victory over Fluminense thanks to João Pedro’s double.
