Mbappe withdraws moral harassment lawsuit against PSG

A source close to the France captain revealed that Kylian Mbappé has withdrawn his moral harassment lawsuit against Paris Saint-Germain — a move reflecting his desire to mend relations with his former club.

While the criminal charges are dropped, the dispute over unpaid wages amounting to €55 million continues in industrial tribunal. The case originated when Mbappé experienced “lofting” — the practice of isolating players from the main squad — after refusing contract extension before the 2023-24 season.

Relations between Mbappé and PSG president Nasser Al Khelaïfi have reportedly improved in recent weeks. The striker, now representing Real Madrid, will face his former club in the Club World Cup semifinal.

Mbappé’s move to Madrid last year was marked by tensions — from preseason isolation to rejecting a €300 million offer from Al Hilal. Though initially excluded from the league opener, he eventually returned to play after discussions with the club.
