Fajar/Fikri face tough challenge at Japan Open 2025

According to the draw released by Badminton World Federation (BWF) today, Indonesian men’s doubles pair Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri face a tough challenge at Japan Open 2025.

This new combination — both front court specialists and All England title holders — will immediately face seventh seeds Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani in the round of 32.

The all-Indonesian clash in this BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament presents a unique test for Fajar/Fikri — particularly in controlling the back court area which remains their main challenge.
