Jordi Amat reveals reason for joining Persija Jakarta

Indonesian national team defender Jordi Amat has surprised the domestic football community by joining Persija Jakarta for the 2025/2026 Liga 1 season — despite receiving offers from Spanish and Saudi Arabian clubs.

Jordi Amat, who previously played for Johor Darul Ta’zim, revealed the main reason for joining the capital city club.
