Arsenal Close to Finalizing Viktor Gyokeres Transfer from Sporting CP

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are closing in on securing the signature of Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres — transfer negotiations have progressed positively in recent days.

The Swedish forward has reached personal terms with The Gunners for a long-term contract — only the transfer fee negotiations with Sporting CP remain.

According to the renowned Italian journalist, this transfer could soon receive the “here we go” status — indicating the deal is nearly final and only awaiting official announcement from both clubs.

“Arsenal’s negotiations with Sporting CP have been positive over the last 24-48 hours,” Romano writes.
