Hamilton Optimistic About Ferrari’s Performance at British GP

Lewis Hamilton demonstrated promising performance with Ferrari at Silverstone — leading the first practice session and finishing third in FP2 behind Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc.

The seven-time world champion — who is pursuing his tenth home victory — appeared comfortable with his Ferrari after experiencing a challenging adaptation period early in the season.

“It was a really good day. Amazing to be driving a Ferrari here at Silverstone. And despite Red Bull and McLaren bringing updates, we’re still in the mix — that’s really positive,” Hamilton stated.

Despite McLaren and Red Bull bringing improvements to their cars, Ferrari maintained strong competitiveness — both in single-lap pace and race simulations.

“I feel we can dream of having a strong weekend. I now better understand what the car needs,” added Hamilton, who also mentioned the possibility of rain on Saturday and Sunday.
