Indonesia Thrashed by Japan 6-0: The Names Behind the Samurai Blue’s Goal Fest

Japan showcased their dominance against Indonesia in the final match of the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers (AFC), held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Suita City Stadium, Osaka. In this match, six goals were scored against Indonesia by five different Japanese players.

Daichi Kamada starred by netting two goals, opening Japan’s lead in the first half and adding another before halftime. Takefusa Kubo also found the net with an impressive solo effort inside the box. In the second half, Ryoya Morishita extended Japan’s advantage with a well-timed finish from a cross. Shortly after, Shuto Machino added another goal for the Samurai Blue. The final goal was scored by Mao Hosoya in the closing minutes of the match.

With goals from Kamada (2), Kubo, Morishita, Machino, and Hosoya, Japan secured a convincing 6-0 win over Indonesia. This result highlighted Japan’s attacking strength and provided a valuable experience for the Garuda squad.
