Indonesian Women’s Volleyball Team Ready for AVC Nations Cup 2025

PP PBVSI has officially confirmed the participation of the Indonesia women’s national volleyball team in the upcoming AVC Nations Cup 2025, which will take place next week in Hanoi, Vietnam.

A total of 14 players have been selected to compete at this Asian-level tournament, showcasing the country’s best talents on an international stage.

Key Names Boost Team Strength

Among the standout names called up are Yolla Yuliana, Sella Bernadheta, Mediol Stiovanny Yoku, Arneta Putri Amelian, and Tisya Amallya Putri — who are expected to provide both skill and experience for Indonesia.

Adjustments Due to Absence and Injury

Notably absent from the squad is Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi, who is preparing for her wedding next month. Additionally, Aulia Suci Nurfadila and Arsela Nuari Purnama remain unavailable due to ongoing injury recovery.

Their spots have been filled by Ajeng Viona Adelea and Dinda Syifa Ammelia, who will look to seize the opportunity on the big stage.

Intensive Training Ahead of Tournament

The national team has completed a two-week training camp at the General Kunarto Volleyball Center in Sentul, Bogor, to ensure they are in peak condition ahead of the competition.

This marks another step forward in Indonesia’s journey to re-establish itself among Asia’s volleyball elite.
